Seeking Happiness

When one door of happiness closes, another opens, but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us.
-Helen Keller

This saying is one hella right! We don't need to focus ourselves on the door that has been closed instead look forward at the door that has been open for us. Don't look back on what has been done already. When it closes, it will never be sure if it will be open again for you. Step forward, smile and be on that door that opens. Maybe in that open door that has been opened for you, you'll gonna seek the true happiness that you were looking for.  But if ever you won't recognize that open door of yours, don't forget to be happy. Make yourself happy. There are many ways to be happy. It is you who will decide those happiness. You can create your own happiness. You can be happy in any way. Just don't ignore the door that's waiting for you. You'll never know it will be close soon. Go and have a journey, make your own path going to the door, happy and memorable moments so you won't regret later on. Cheer up! Be happy as you can be!

Starting a New Beginning

Starting a new beginning is not that easy as we imagine. They say we need to start a new for ourselves. But in us, do we know how to start again? Do we know how to start all over again? Build a new life. We ask ourselves HOW.

Actually, it depends on a person if he or she will start again. But it's better to do so. Be yourself. Think of the possible circumstances that will surely help you in starting a new. Think and decide for your own. Think of yourself, not for others. Live your life to the fullest but with limitations. Enjoy your every day life with what you have. Make friends and mingle with others. Do whatever you want to do. No one's stopping you to do so. It is your life. You own it. You are the one who is deciding on it. But make sure it is the right path that you were taking. Stand up and say it to yourself "if they can, sure will i can and i can do better than them". Prove it to them, not only to them but also to yourself that you can. Prove them all wrong. If you already did, you can start all over again. And for sure, you're ready to fall inlove to someone who deserves you. Don't look for that someone, instead WAIT for that someone to come. We are all destined to have a partner in life. Remember, we love and we get hurt. But don't forget to love yourself and be proud of who you are. Start a new chapter and enjoy the pages!

Letting Go and Moving On

Letting go is difficult to do when you really love a person. It takes time to let go. It takes sacrifices. It takes time to think and analyze before deciding. Thinking not only once nor twice, but thinking every now and then. Deciding such thing is not that easy, we need to think the advantages and disadvantages. Think about yourself. Think about what will happen when you'll decide to hold on, and what are its consequences. And don't forget to think if your partner is also fighting or you're just the only one who is fighting the battle. If you'll find out that you were the only one who is fighting, better not to hold on. Never hope, but you can dream. Never assume but you can think. Even we love that person so much, it will come to the point that we will get tired and get used to the things that were happening. Be yourself and and don't pretend to be someone else. Cry if you must. Shout if you want. But never forget to think about yourself. Help yourself to let go. It is us who makes decision. It is us who thinks. We need to use our BRAIN this time not our heart. In order for us to let go, we must forgive but we can't forget. The memories will remain but in time, it will vanish and one day we can say "it was just a part of my past and who I am". Let go of that person. Let go of the feelings. Let go of the memories just for now. Let yourself see what happiness is. Let yourself be happy of what you have. Be happy and be contented. Don't think of what happened instead think of what will happen next. Continue the journey of your life. And put in your mind that there's someone better who deserves you and who will make you happy, accept you and love you for who and what you are. Love is everywhere. Love hurts. Love sacrifices. Love takes risks. Start a new chapter of your life and continue the book. Make as many chapters you can. Feel the essence of life and don't forget to smile even just for a day. Laugh naturally and love yourself and be ready for the next chapter. Don't give up but fight and be strong as life gives you challenges to encounter. Always remember, past is just already a memory, present is the most important one and look forward for your future. Explore when you still can. Don't waste time when you still have it. Live life!

The Greatest Christian Feast:...THE RESSURECTION OF JESUS

On Easter Sunday, Christians celebrate the resurrection of the Lord, Jesus Christ. It is typically the most well-attended Sunday service of the year for Christian churches.
Christians believe, according to Scripture, that Jesus came back to life, or was raised from the dead, three days after his death on the cross. As part of the Easter season, the death of Jesus Christ by crucifixion is commemorated on Good Friday, always the Friday just before Easter. Through his death, burial, and resurrection, Jesus paid the penalty for sin, thus purchasing for all who believe in him, eternal life in Christ Jesus.
By all means, Christ's resurrection is something that should be celebrated every day, not just once a year. At the same time, if we choose to celebrate Easter Sunday, we should not allow the fun and games to distract our attention from what the day should truly be all about—the fact that Jesus was resurrected from the dead, and that His resurrection demonstrates that we can indeed be promised an eternal home in Heaven by receiving Jesus as our Savior.

HAPPY EASTER SUNDAY..........

What is Easter Sunday?
There is a lot of confusion regarding what Easter Sunday is all about. For some, Easter Sunday is about the Easter Bunny, colorfully decorated Easter eggs, and Easter egg hunts. Most people understand that Easter Sunday has something to do with the resurrection of Jesus, but are confused as to how the resurrection is related to the Easter eggs and the Easter bunny.
Biblical speaking, there is absolutely no connection between the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the common modern traditions related to Easter Sunday.
Essentially, what occurred is that in order to make Christianity more attractive to non-Christians, the ancient Roman Catholic Church mixed the celebration of Jesus' resurrection with celebrations that involved spring fertility rituals. These spring fertility rituals are the source of the egg and bunny traditions.
The Bible makes it clear that Jesus was resurrected on the first day of the week, Sunday (Matthew 28:1; Mark 16:2; 9Luke 24:1; John 20:1; 19). Jesus' resurrection is most worthy of being celebrated (see 1 Corinthians 15). While it is appropriate for Jesus' resurrection to be celebrated on a Sunday, the day on which Jesus' resurrection is celebrated should not be referred to as Easter. Easter has nothing to do with Jesus' resurrection on a Sunday.

BLACK SATURDAY............

Holy Saturday, Sabbatum Sanctum in Latin, is the last day of Holy Week, and the 40th day of the traditional fast of Lent, although Lent ends liturgically on the evening of Holy Thursday. The evening of Holy Saturday begins the third and final day of the Paschal Triduum. In the Latin Church, no Masses are celebrated on Holy Saturday, and the day is essentially a sparse time of reflection upon Christ's death and burial in anticipation of the Great Vigil of Easter (Paschal Vigil). The vigil usually begins the night of Holy Saturday, lasting until Easter morning. Very little happens on Holy Saturday, that is until the beginning of the Great Paschal Vigil.

There is deep symbolism upon which we can reflect on Holy Saturday. On this day, the Church waits at the Lord's tomb, and meditates on His Passion and Death and His descent into Hell. With prayer and fasting we await His glorious Easter resurrection. Mary is also a Holy Saturday symbol. According to Catholic tradition, Mary represents the entire body of the Church. As she awaited in faith for the victorious triumph of Her Son over death on the first Holy Saturday, so we too wait with Mary on the present Holy Saturday. This faithful and prayerful symbolic waiting has been called the Ora della   Madre or Hour of the Mother.
In the earliest days, there was no special celebration on Holy Saturday, except perhaps anticipation of the all-night Paschal Vigil. Eventually this emphasis on preparation for the Great Vigil became more emphasized.

What is the Paschal Triduum?

The Paschal Triduum, often called the Easter Triduum or simply the Triduum, consists of Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday, and Easter Sunday. This includes the Great Easter Vigil, the high point of the Triduum. The word Triduum comes from the Latin word meaning "three days." It begins the evening of Maundy Thursday and ends at Evening Prayer on Easter Sunday. Thus the Triduum consists of three full days which begin and end in the evening. In the Catholic Church, the Triduum technically is not part of Lent (at least liturgically), but Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday are still reckoned as part of the traditional forty day Lenten fast. The Triduum celebrates the heart of our faith and salvation: the death and resurrection of Christ, and is thus the high point of the liturgical year.

THE SEVEN LAST WORDS:

THE SEVEN LAST WORDS OF CHRIST

"Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do." (Luke 23:34)
Soldiers have just driven nails through his hands and feet and hoisted him up by those nails. He does not fear those who kill his body; he pities them and prays for them. If they knew how much this hurts, they could not do it to anyone. They are unwitting instruments of the higher purpose that brings him here.

"My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" (Matthew 27:46)

But physical torment takes its toll. He suddenly discovers that he cannot hear the still, small voice; he has lost his two-way communication with God. His lifeline is not working, so he must face the the narrow gate of death alone.

He said to his mother, "Woman, behold your son!" Then he said to the disciple, "Behold your mother!" (John 19:26-27)

Not quite alone. He looks down. Which hurts worse: the pain of being crucified, or the pain of a mother watching her son be crucified, or the pain of a boy whose beloved teacher hangs bleeding before his eyes? He understands their pain in the midst of his own, and tells them to care for each other.

"I thirst!" (John 19:28)

Time passes slowly. His spring of living water runs dry. He reaches the end of his strength. This is the moment the Tempter has been waiting for: through the voices of cynical men, Satan tries again, as he did in the wilderness: "If you are the Christ, prove it! Save yourself and impress the people."
"Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise." (Luke 23:43)

But a dying thief says, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom." What the cynical voices suggest is not the way to prove he is the Christ. His kingdom is not of this world. He ignores them and reassures the thief.
"It is finished!" (John 19:30)

He has defeated the Tempter again. Despite the agony, he has rejected temptation and cared for those around him. His temporary duty on earth is complete. He has shown the way God wants us to live. He has demonstrated the fact that faith and hope and love cannot be destroyed by anything men can say or do.
"Father, into thy hands I commit my spirit." (Luke 23:46)
Like a trusting child, he turns to the Father and takes the next step. He has bound himself by love, to both God and the human race. Soon he will begin his long-term ministry by demonstrating the fact that human beings survive physical death. Then he will continue to draw to himself, and thus to heaven, everyone he can ... for as long as it takes ... until whosoever will has come.

GOOD FRIDAY

Good Friday is observed on the Friday before Easter Sunday. On this day Christians commemorate the passion, or suffering, and death on the cross of the Lord, Jesus Christ. Many Christians spend this day in fasting, prayer, repentance, and meditation on the agony and suffering of Christ on the cross.

HOLY THURSDAY

On Holy Thursday (also called Maundy Thursday), Christians commemorate the Last Supper—a Passover meal that Jesus shared with his disciples the night before his death. During the meal, Jesus broke bread and offered his followers wine, saying “This is my body, given up for you.” Many Christians consider this event to have been the institution of the Eucharist, which is a sacrament in some denominations.

Today is a HOLY WEDNESDAY.......

Holy Wednesday is the name Christians use for the Wednesday before Easter.

Holy Wednesday is also known as Spy Wednesday. This was the day that Judas Iscariot first planned with the Jewish guards to betray Jesus for thirty silver coins.

ALONE.......

Sometimes you need to be alone. Sometimes you just don’t want to be comforted because you need the chance to take it in. All that has been, all the pain left behind. The best cure is time on your own to analyze, time to pull yourself together again, and time to see that all you ever wanted is now nothing but a fading memory. Time to let it go and time to start again.
